Since I've moved to almost 100% remote for my job, I had to upgrade my cheap, old home/office chair that was giving me shoulder, back, and leg aches. I've read tons of reviews of gaming chairs, and there are 3 things that I should look for in a high quality gaming chair. First, the frame inside the foam should be made of steel, not plywood. Second, the base should be made of steel and third, armrest should be adjustable. OFX Gideon is the only sub P10,000.00 gaming chair with all these features. I spend around 12 hours a day in front of my computer, so this was a worthy investment.

I'm very pleased with this chair, it fits me perfectly. I'm 5'8" so I think anyone my size or larger should be perfect for this chair. The build quality is very good, what made me decide to buy this model over Vitesse is the adjustable armrest, it's flexible and comfortable, it's worth the P1,000 difference!

Every part of this chair fits and supports me exactly as I had hoped. I needed adjustable arms, you can change the height, and set them to several angles as well. The lower back separate cushion can be moved wherever you want it with the elastic straps, and it hits me right where I need it. The upper back also is nice and firm, and the neck support pillow also fits me perfectly. The seat has comfortable cushion but not too much, I can sit all day without going numb. The lift is easy to operate and readily supports my weight, the swivel and casters feel heavy duty. The reclining options range from a perfect straight up work setting, to almost like a lounge chair if you need to take a break.

Pros

- Metal frame makes it ultra durable. Seat and back padding feels great.
- It feels like this chair raises higher than the other ones I've had.
- Assembly took 5-10 minutes and was straight forward.
- The wide metal base, this is a must for me.
